i will use it to eventually find a perimeter, so I have to solve for length and width knowing I have an area of 250ft

you have the Area = 250 Now we know length x Breadth = Area,, Taking Length as L and breadth as B You have L x B = Area therefore L x B= 250 Now, the periemter is 2(L + B)...
