During cell division why do the E.coli barcteria & human skin cells have different timings. (2 Reason)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Human skin cells are mainly Eukaryotic (apart from the stratum lucidum found in areas of thick skin such as the hands and feet) which are much more complex then simple prokaryotic cells such as those of E. Coli. Prokaryotic cells take less time to reproduce as they're organisms are mainly single celled and they are much smaller than Eukaryotic cells.
