Two vectors a & b have equal magnitudes of 10.0 m & the angles are: 1. 30º and 2. 105º. Find the (a). x and (b) y components of their vector sum r. I understand that it's ax = acos(theta) and ay = asin(theta) but in the solution for the vector b, they added the angles 30º + 105º. Why? Is it because |a| = |b| ?
