factor b^2+3b+8b+24

OpenStudy (day_2010):

Original problem: b^2+3b+8b+24 Combine like terms: 3b+8b = 11b New problem: b^2+11b+24 Rule: when nothing can be factored multiply coefficients of the first and last term. You get: 24, cause 1 times 24 = 24 :P lol Rule two: Factor 24 and make sure it adds up to the middle term in the "New Problem" . Now 24 Factored: is 3 and 8 cause 3+8= 11 "the middle term of the New Problem" So, now I will show go to draw the rest to finish this so I don '|dw:1326684313902:dw|t have to type it all. lol
