pleasee give me an example with work for the answer for Sum of a perfect square trinomial

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Could you please be more specific?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need an example of the sum of a perfect square trinomial and then how to solve the example

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well here is a perfect square trinomial: x^2+6x+9

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How you solve it, since it is not an equation, I have no idea. If you mean factor it, the factors are (x+3)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you give the work of how to get to the factors?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Perfect square trinomials are in the form a^2 + 2ab + b^2 and factor to (a + b)^2 or a^2 - 2ab + b^2 factor to (a - b)^2.
