how we can write inverse of a matrix in terms of products of elementry matrices?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Since each row operation can be represented by the multiplication of an elementary matrix, the complete process of inverting a matrix can be reduced to the multiplication of a number of elementary matrices, each equivalent to the row operation required. This question is based on the comprehension of the definition of elementary matrices, see for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elementary_matrix
