168% multiply by 100
so 168/100x100 = 168

percent means "divided by 100" any number can be written as a percent, it doesn't have to be less that one. so for example .3 is 30% and 1.4 is 140%
remember when u divide by 100 the point moves back 2 place
1 express as a % is ALWAYS 100% anything written as a decimal will be multiplied by 100 for the percent IE: .68 = 68% .26 = 26% .928349832450 = 92.8349832450% 1.68 = 168%
