Do you know how to find the circumference of the circle?
(3.14) PI
Circumference = 2 * pi * r (where r is radius). Circumference goes around the circle for the full 360 degrees. Because the arc only has 40 degrees, you need to find the proportion of the circumference corresponding to 40 degrees.
