I am buying stationery for use in the office. I have 23 staff in the office and need to get 2 pens and 1 notebook for each of them. The pens are sold in packets of either 10 or 12 and the notebooks are sold in packets of 8 or 10. I decided to buy just the larger packets of each and save any extra ones. yah, just work it out by hand eh. needed 2*23 = 46 pens in 4 packs of 12 but got 4x10 ended up 6 short, have to buy 6 pens at 12c each. etc.
