OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the domain and range of the combined function : y=0.95^x/cosx?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

well the only domain restriction is when cos(x) = 0 -> x not equal 0 or pi

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

oops i was thinking sin, it should be x ne pi/2, and 3pi/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do we figure this out? :S

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

i believe the range is All Real Numbers, as the function approaches +- infinity at npi +pi/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and y cannot equal to 0

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

oh right, yes because .95^x can never be zero :)
