A swimming pool has to be drained for maintenance. The pool is shaped like a cylinder with a diameter of 20m and a depth of 2.1m . If the water is pumped out of the pool at the rate of11m^3 per hour, how many hours does it take to empty the pool? Use the value 3.14 for Pi , and round your answer to the nearest hour. Please give right answer:)

Just work out the volume using:\[\Large V = \pi {r^2}h\]And then figure out how many times 11 goes into that number.

in this case what would the radius be:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The radius is half the diameter. So 10.
