What type of citation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://citationmachine.net/index2.php HUGE lifesaver for me. Also the OWL at Perdue site. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/ Both sites will walk you through doing these citations with any given source with any citation version. In order to help you more specificially we'll need to know if you need apa, mla, or chicago citations or some other version.

In APA format you can do website citations and references a couple ways depending on who wrote the article. Examples: With author: In-text (Blough, 2011) Reference Blough, J. (2011). Chasing the Check. Retrieved January 19, 2011, from https://www.makemore.com/ [note: only use "Retrieved" and the date if the site or article is likely to change.] Corporation as the author: In-text (Microsoft Corporation, 2011, para. 3) [only need a paragraph number if you quote directly] Reference Microsoft Corporation. (2011). How to buy Office 2010 through Volume Licensing. Retrieved from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/buy/how-to-buy-office-2010-through-volume-licensing-HA101809925.aspx These are just a couple of ways. There are also ways to site blogs and other types of sites as well. The Purdue site that PsychoTink mentioned is good they also have a section dedicated to APA at http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ and MLA at http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/02/
