Practice, practice, practice. Find types of problems that you think will be covered on your test, and practice many different variations of them.

This is why textbooks generally include multiple similar problems.

Its alot man... and i forgot the textbook at school. i'm so screwed. mainly it's factoring and trigonometry + geometry
