did i solve for c correctly... c(2)+8=c(2)^2−8 0 = c^4 - c^2 - 16 0 =(c^2-4)(c^2+4) 0=(c-2)(c+2)(c^2+4) c-2 =0 c=2 c+2=0 c = -2 c^2=4 none because c^2 = -4 it is negative and u cannot square root it so c = 2 and -2
