Hello, I have a question on my 5th Grade math homework. This is a simple question, is all I want to know is that when you turn an improper fraction into a mixed number AFTER you do the division what order of numbers do you put the new fraction into. As in like the new whole number and the new dominator for the new fraction made out of the improper fraction.

the quotient is the WHOLE number, the remainder is the NUMERATOR, and the DENOMINATOR stays the denomintor

Thank you!
