(-3)^-2 (-3)^0 by the way, negative exponent means "inverse" so (-3)^-2 really means inverse of (-3)^2 or 1/(-3)^2
What Does ^ Mean ?
It's the symbology that indicates that something is being raised to a certain power. For example, 2^3 means 2 raised to the third 3rd power. The 2 is the base, the three is the exponent.
2^3 means the same as \[2^3\]
