a naked log tends to mean base 10, whereas ln referes to base "e"
calculus likes to convert things into ln
change of base:\[log_{10}(x)=\frac{ln(x)}{ln(10)}\]
Sometimes people tend to write log. Is that considered wrong?
the wolf likes to use log for ln, so i doubt its "wrong"
