in a parallelogram, diagonals bisect each othe so
DH=HF
and GH=HE
so we get two equations
x+1=3y
x=3y-1
and
3x-4=5y+1
3(3y-1)-4=5y+1
9y-7=5y+1
4y=8
y=2
x=3y-1
x=5
and y=2
