Groups only have a name that you can specify when creating them. It would be really useful to add a field where a general description/purpose of the group can be entered. You could then use this as the tooltip when hovering over the group name which I think will display more useful information than the current tooltip which just displays the name of the group and hence adds no extra information.

The tooltip displays the group name because certain group names are too long to be displayed, and are therefore cut off.

We've already noted the request for group descriptions, however.

That's surprising. Group names pretty much everywhere should have tooltips if you hover for a few seconds.
