Cshalvey mentioned that people are having fake accounts to inflate their medal counts. I was just wondering how it helps in medal counts if you're having two separate accounts? I mean, people won't know it is the same person will they?

lets say you have your account pratu043 and then you create a new one account and then you view all your answered quenstion and give medals to pratu043 account thus increasing your medal count, that's it

Oh, I see, that's a really good idea(if you want to have a sudden burst of medals). But do you know anyone like that who has fake accounts? Do the mods suspect anyone?

according to others, yes there are and if giving medals are logged it can be easily tracked

That's really sad. These are people with the wrong attitude.

Easily is a bit of an overstatement. We can observe patterns and check IPs, but none of these are hard checks. That said, if and when you notice such behavior, please report abuse and mention medal inflation. We will look into it and apply proper suspensions/bans and XP reductions.
