can someone help me with this please ? Given that three angles of a triangle are represented by x, x+5, and 3x, what are the measures of those angles if the sum of three angles of a triangle are always equal to 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

You've the hint in the question itself!!! three angles are x, x+5 and 3x . In any triangle the sum of angles is 180 degrees so x+x+5+3x=180 5x+5=180 5x=175 x=35 so the angles are 35, 35+5, 35*3 35, 40 and 105 degrees
