In Physics at least, it seems to take 20 minutes or more before all moderator privileges are given the person with the highest level. Normally, this doesn't matter, but I imagine one day it will.

But that doesn't happen in biology group. I am the leading user in biology(right now) and I am able to delete questions of other users.

In Physics, I very quickly get "delete" privileges, but I'm not marked green or have 'Kick' privileges for a long time.

because it doesn't refresh instantly, you can manually refresh it by going to all users page and clicking on your profile and FOR YOU it will show that you are green but idk what it shows for others and you said you have mod powers so everything is fine.

Also if you click on someone whos green and lower level FOR YOU he will lose his green color but idk if he had mod powers when there was someone higher lvl, probably not

Yeah, actually moderator privileges are usually shown in real time, but your ability to do the actions may require you to reload the page. That part of the code wasn't exercised too thoroughly before we added group moderator promotion. I want to do a cleanup pass of that moderator stuff. Maybe tomorrow!

Ah, good hint to know. I've noticed a delay in the writing group as well, but nothing like 20 minutes.
