In a circle with an 8-inch radius, a central angle has a measure of 60°. How long is the segment joining the endpoints of the arc cut off by the angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

40 pi over 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 inch

OpenStudy (radar):

With the central angle of 60 degrees, the segment would produce two more angles of 60 degrees or a equilateral triangle, thus the three sides would indeed be equal, just as abdul shabeer has stated.
