can anybody tell me what obesity is and if they can find me study on obesity?

OpenStudy (blues):

Obesity is basically excessive overweight. The actual quantitative definition varies: some people define it as a body mass index (BMI) of more than 30 (there are different classes or grades of obesity, also defined based on BMI). Other people define it relative to waist circumference to hip circumference ratio. Still other people define it roughly as being one third your normal body weight overweight. Because this seems to be a pretty general question, I'd refer you to Wikipedia (and the references on the obesity Wiki page) for documents on it. There are also plenty in the popular media - but make sure you chose a reliable, well cited, well documented one. If you want more sophisticated articles - like, for example, scientific reviews and current research and epidemiology - I suggest you do a pubmed search, with whatever keywords or aspects of obesity you're particularly interested in.

you may try searching the various studies about FTO gene which is associated with obesity. it's remarkably common.
