Does anyone know how to solve the linear system for y=3x ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y = 3x is not a linear system that I can tell; its just one equation

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a linear system tends to mean equating a group of equations

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y=3x is just a line thru the origin with a steepness of 3

Thanks

I would like some help also on y=4x-1

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the easiest way maybe to draw a line is to find 2 points that satisfy the equation; pick like x=0 and some other x to work with and plot the points to draw a line between them
