what is a parallel slope?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

the general equation of a straight line is:\[y=mx+c\]where 'm' represents the slope of the line, and 'c' represents its 'y' intercept. Any lines that have the same value for 'm' have the same slope and are thus parallel.
