36^x = 0 Solve for x. I want to say no solution, but my math book says "be clever" so I'm thinking that isn't the answer.
Anything to the 0 power is 1, except 0, but that is undefined...
36^x is never 0
36^x>0
So no solution?
for any real x
at - ∞
right no solution
YES! Thanks for the confirmation.
np
x<2 is very close to zero
finally it is no solution , so doesnt matter how close it is
it has a horizontal aymsptote as akshay said but it never touches the x-axis

36^(any power) will be postive
but the question has only two significant figures if this was a physics question the answer would be x<2 but because it is maths the is no solutions
i don't understand what your saying i'm sorry unkle
Yeah I don't either
since this question is posted in the math section, i'm looking at it from a mathematical view
i have no knowledge of physics and i think you mean x<-2 based on your graph because that is where it starts to get really close however, it only gets close but never touches the x-axis this is called a horizontal asymptote
yeah i meant when x<-2
