Solve prob workin backwards. Please help me! How to solve these prob workin backward, i jus dnt get it how these type of math can solve easily. On Monday morning, Colin filled his car with 6 1/2 gallons of gas, then used 3 1/4 gallons driving. On Tuesday, he used up 2 gallons driving. On Tuesday night, his gas tank had 4 1/4 gallons remaining. How much gas was in Colin's tank before he filled up on Monday morning?
