User showing in which group they are right now works iff you are in that group yourself. I don't know maybe you wanted to do like that.

It also makes sense in a broader sense, honestly. You're less likely to be interested if it's not a group of yours. pratu—Tomas is referring to the activity indicators in tooltips and on the members list. If a user is looking at a question in another group, it reads “is looking at <group>” with a link to switch to that group. However, if they are looking at a question in a completely unrelated group, it just says “is looking around”.
