I dont understand how. Can someone explain?? 1. Write the equation y - 4 = -2(x - 5) in slope-intercept form. 2. Write the equation y - 2 = 2(x - 3) in standard form 3. Write the point-slope form of the equation passing through (5, -1) with a slope

1. y= -2x+10+4 Y= -2x+14

but how did you get it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you distribute the -2 into the x and 5 and bring the 4 over to the other side since the y has to be by itself.

Okay. Thanks
