OpenStudy (aravindg):

find the no: of integral solutions of the equation x+2y+z=21 where x,y,z>+0

OpenStudy (jamesj):

First notice that if y = 10, then there are no solutions. And there won't be for y > 10 either. Hence, ask yourself: for each of y = 1, 2, 3, ..., 9; how many solution pairs are there for x and z?
