how many solutions does each system have? 3. x = –4y + 4 2x + 8y = 8 (1 point) one two infinite none

OpenStudy (hoblos):

infinite

hero (hero):

lol, correct. I goofed up. It's the same graph

hero (hero):

It's infinite because You can take the first equation x = -4y + 4, multiply the whole thing by two to get: 2y = -8y + 8 Then add 8y to both sides to get: 2y + 8y = 8 Hey, what do you know? It becomes the same as the second equation. Two equations that are the same have the same solutions, therefore the solution is infinite.
