What is the least common multiple, LCM, of the two polynomials? (x + 3) and (x2 - 9)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Factor the second binomial and you will see that it have two factors: (x-3)(x+3) So, the two factors that you need for the LCM are (x-3)(x+3) since the first polynomial is x+3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

LCM=(x+3)(x-3)
