Which are counter examples of the following statement? If the sum of x and y is negative, then both x and y are negative. x = -2 and y = -4 x = -10 and y = 5 x = -6 and y = 0 x = 15 and y = -2

... x=-6 and y = 0 because the sum is negative but they are not both negative. so is x=-10 and y = 5.

x = -6 and y = 0 Sum is -6. 0 is not negative. And x = -10 and y = 5 Sum is -5. 5 is not negative.
