How do you use the limit test to determine the convergence of a series ;) PS. I know. does anyone else on this forum? i'm testing the math level ;)

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

hmmm i dont know is this calculus what grade r u in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"are you in". yup calculus. well that's disappointing. what can you do up to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do ur own HW

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the limit of the ration of a.next/a.now as it goes to infinity

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[{a_0,a_1,a_2,...,a_n,a_{n+1},...}\] \[\lim_{n->inf}\frac{a_{n+1}}{a_n}\] if i recall it right

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if this is a number that is not 0 or 1? it converges, otherwise do more tests

OpenStudy (amistre64):

not inf or 1; ... typoed

OpenStudy (amistre64):

or is this the one thats the "test for divergence" sing if the nth term goes to 0?
