]What is the slope of a line that passes through the point (−5, 3) and is parallel to a line that passes through (2, 13) and (−4, −11)?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well if you find the slope of the line between (2,13) and (-4, -11) your other line is parallel and so has the same slope... \[m =(y _{2} - y _{1})/(x _{2}-x _{1})\]
