h=4+63t-16t2 h is the height and f is the seconds..how many seconds will it take to hit the ground?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

solve the quadratic..... you may need the general quadratic formula.... and take the positive solution, (time can't be negative) and you should get at t=4 the object will hit the ground

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

when it hits the ground, h=0. so, as @campbell_st said, you need to solve:\[4+63t-16t^2=0\]

okay thank you so much
