buddbro: I need help wityh a reference in a paper, using the APA style, please. I took a course, online, from Ed2Go, thru Cengage of California, and my local community college, here. I would like to quote an author, referring to one particular lesson. The author's name is Tom Scovel. The course is Teaching ESL/EFL. How would I write this reference - in what sequence, please ?
If you are writing using the APA format you need the year of the publication and what paragraph you took your quote out of ( para. is a new rule) and it should look something like this. Bla bla bla ( Scovel, year, para. #).
Citation: (Scovel, year) or (Scovel, year, p. 9) or (Scovel, year, para. 2) Reference: Scovel, T. (year). Title (if no title, course name: i.e. HIS275). Unpublished manuscript, University or department name: i.e. California State University, Fresno. Retrieved from URL if you retrieved it from the Internet
