Graph the following function using transformations. Find the vertical and horizontal asymptotes. State the domain and range f(x)= - 1/x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

start with \[y=\frac{1}{x}\] then translate 2 units left to get \[\frac{1}{x+2}\] the flip about x axis to get \[y=-\frac{1}{x+2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

horizontal asymptote is \[y=0\] since the degree of the denominator is bigger than the degree of the numerator. vertical asymptote is \[x=-2\] since you are not allowed to divide by zero

then this would be my answer
