I need to evaluate this problem 4a – b − 4(5a − 7b + 8c) I know I have to do the parenthesis first, and I have already multiplied the contents by 4...but - now what do I do...there are only to "like terms" the 4a and the 20a...any help would be most graciously appreciated.

well when you multiply the contents did you get 4a -b -20a + 20b - 32c Then collect the like terms of 'a' and 'b' to conclude -16a + 27b -32c
