Do bends in a wire affect its resistance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it can only change the flow of current

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you sachin

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Resistivity is an atomic level effect so there Might be a very tiny change if the atomic structure changes but it would be less than normal variation due to temperature It affects the wire's inductance, but not its DC resistance. for all practical purposes NO remember V = IR is NOT a law like F =mA because, it is an experimental relationship for a particular material Regards, Read my Profile. :D
