Discrete Math: Does Theta(n^2 + 2n + 42) = Theta(n^2) hold? (Big Theta notation)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it won't hold .. reason being that while n^2 + 2n +42 has a lower bound = 41, n^2 has no lower bound . Both the equations have no upper bound.
