- sign the first rectangle A with side length of 3 feet and area 24 square feet - larger similar rectangle B with coresponding side length of 9 feet - so because there is B rectangle with coresponding side length 3 time longer than A rectangle side so than the area of B rectangle will be 3 time grater than area of A rectangle - so in this case will be 3*24=72 square feet
