Is each relation a function? 1. {(–2, –1), (4, 2), (–8, –4), (6, 3)}

function!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :) soo, a group of coordinates is a function when there are no coordinates that have the same x-value but different y-value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is a function because all elements in domain have a corresponding element in range and no domain has corresponding multiple values in range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so (1, 4) and (1, 5) is not because x is same, but y is different
