But the record, Acoustics is normally considered singular (just like Mathematics or Physics is singular even though all the words have an -s on the end). You can test that idea by asking this: if it were plural, do we have "Acoustic" as a noun? Not really, no. The conjugation of the verb

to have

for third person singular is has
I have (1st person)
You have (2nd person)
She has (3rd person)

Therefore A is the correct answer.
