The area under a graph of vx vs t from t = ti to t = tf represents what?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

what is vx ? velocity times distance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That I am not sure of, the only options I am given are: 1) xi. 2) xf. 3) xf - xi. 4) (xi + xf). 5) xi + xf.

OpenStudy (turingtest):

well I'm not sure either, but\[\int_{ti}^{tf} vdt=x_f-x_i\]but that doesn't have an x in it, that would be for a graph of v vs t

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I think someone typed an extra x...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah, that would do it :P
