OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is da difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells ?????""?"?????

OpenStudy (rogue):

The main difference is that eukaryotic cells have membrane bound organelles whilst prokaryotic cells do not. Here is a whole chart on the differences between them if you'd like to read it: www.diffen.com/difference/Eukaryotic_Cell_vs_Prokaryotic_Cell

OpenStudy (msmr):

The biggest difference is that prokaryotes don't have a nucleus (but they DO have genetic information!) and eukaryotes do.

OpenStudy (rogue):

You can say that the nucleus is the biggest difference, but that still involves membranes not being present about the genetic material. I would think that the endomembrane system is the biggest difference.
