For any polynomial f(x)
f(c) = the Remainder of f(x)/(x-c)

or in other words:
f(x)/(x-c) = q(x)+r/(x-c), where q(x) is quotient and r is remainder
f(x) = q(x)*(x-c) + r
f(c) = r
