I'm a n00b big time here, and most of the terminology is confusing to me; anyone know where I can find a good glossary that will explain terms in real, honest to god, english?
Hello, Dr.Evil! I too am a major noob (see my last question about 9 questions down lol). I found that if you read ALL the prescribed texts in the general order advocated by the "readings" link(found on the left side of the course page at mit ocw) they will treat you as a complete beginner and define all the terms that you need to know in plain English with plenty of examples for clarification. you kind of have to hunt down all the texts though and occassionally I found that one or two terms were still confusing in which case I googled or asked here. I hope that helps, good luck! :) Any one feel free to chime in, I AM indeed a complete beginner
Somehow I missed that XD. That does help; and thank you for the prompt reply!
you're very welcome, glad(hope) I helped! you still will have many questions as you go(ime) but you will find the expert helpers here to be infinitely patient and helpful.
Wanna know what has been helping me? Just playing with the commands I hear of in class until I understand myself what it is that each of them does.
