Henry 's Law: the amount of gas that will dissolve and diffuse into a liquid is proportional to the PP and solubility of the gas What does the "solubility of the gas" mean?? N2, O2 and CO2 have different solubility?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in a nutshell: yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the solubility is also dependent to the absolute pressure of the liquid. oxygen will diffuse worse in greater depths.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is talking about the gas exchange in the body

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when you are up in the mountain, where oxygen level is very thin, does it mean the solubility of oxygen is less?
